Create Beautiful Planner Covers for Planners and Notebooks

by Reiko Tsuchida

Hi there Altenew friends, it’s Reiko. Today I am sharing with you how to make planner covers for planners, journals and  notebooks featuring the Pattern Motif Die Set.

To start, choose a sheet of scrapbooking pattern paper or a wide washi tape from your stash. I used pattern paper from the Live Your Dream 12 x 12 Paper Set and the Painted Dots Wide Washi Tape.

I purchased two sizes of PVC soft document cases – A4 (letter size) and B5(half of letter size) from a dollar store here in Japan. If you can't find these soft cases, laminating also works. Since the washi tapes are adhesive, I adhered the Painted Dots Wide Washi Tape onto the Vellum Translucent Paper.

I then cut out the dies from the Pattern Motif Die Set out of white and pale blue cardstock and added them to the background paper. Once this was done I inserted the paper into the PVC document case.

To make planner covers, I punched four holes.

I like to jot down anything on plain notebooks so I always have these in my bags or on my desk.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
