Hi Friends!
Today I am sharing a retro stamped art journal page completely inspired by the Cool Decades stamp set. I love these 60s and 70s inspired shapes and I gave it a fresh twist using contemporary colors! I also really wanted to use the Pigment Inks, so I chose a color palette selecting a few inks.

To give the page a fresh feel, keep the stamping to a minimum and leave negative space. Use stamps of choice using Caribbean Sky, Warm Sunshine and Coral Berry Pigment Inks. Allow the Images to overlap a little. Add shaded areas by building up the ink if desired.

To tie the page together, choose two to three colors or even keep it monochromatic! Add touches of black using Obsidian Pigment Ink and some of the more minimal stamped images. Be sure to leave some space to stamp your sentiments.

Add your sentiments of choice from the Block Sentiment Stamp Set with Obsidian Pigment Ink.
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you all liked my retro stamped art journal page as much as I loved making it! You can check out more of my mixed media projects and videos by clicking here. If you have any questions, leave a comment on the videos or on the blog and let me know what you think!
