Hi friends!

Today, I am sharing how to create a bold die cut art journal page using Altenew Dies! I love how this page turned out with its bright greens and teal shades and the bold contrast of the die-cuts.

How to Create a Die Cut Art Journal Page

Start by creating some abstract brush shapes using Sea Breeze and Sweet Leaf Watercolor Brush Markers. Pick up one ink color using the other marker to get a variegated look, or evenly mix them to get the same shade. These are from the Spring Garden and Tropical Fiesta Watercolor Brush Marker Set. Add splatters with Antique Gold Metallic Ink Spray.

Next, die cut the word “hope” from the Linear Pathway Solid Die Set. Also, die cut several hexagon shapes from the Terrarium 3D Die Set. Then, stick everything down with clear drying glue.

To finish off, add some decorative marks on the die-cuts with the Gel Pen Set.
