Hello friends! Nathalie here to share a new idea on how to create a colorful memory keeping layout featuring the new Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms. This new kit is perfect for all sorts of crafting projects. The delicate design of the stamp set along with the coloring stencil makes it so easy to create colorful designs in minutes. I love the movement in the design, and how you can easily personalize the flower to fit your project. Let me show you what I created with this new kit:
Let's break down this spread into three colorful sections that will highlight how to create a colorful memory keeping layout.
1. Embellishments
What better way to bring color than to use a layering stamp set that you can customize for your page. For my project, I am using tones of pink, teal, peach, and earthy green to create my flowers. The key is to pick the colors based on the tones and colors that are in your photographs. In this case, I am using the colors in my cousin's romper to create the flowers, thus making sure that they will make those tones pop from the pictures.
2. Background
In order to create a colorful memory keeping layout that is cohesive, it is always a safe route to play with the colors in the photos and embellishments. If we look at the spread, you can see that I am placing the teal blossoms on the right of the notebook. So, I am bringing that color to the background of the left side of the page. Here, I am using the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Dynamic Blossoms stencil to add interest to the background.
3. A Bit of Shine
The last to create a colorful memory keeping layout is to add a bit of shine. In this case, I am using gold (Gold String Washi Tape) as a means to ground my page. But, also adding a bit of metallic pink in the title work (Script Words 3 Die Set) to complement the warm tones in the flowers.
