Hi, friends!
Today, I am sharing how I made a mixed media art journal page using Altenew Pigment Inks!
The stamp set that I am using for today's project is In The Woodlands Stamp Set which comes with a coordinating die and a stencil. Read below to see how I made this easy and beginner friendly mixed media art journal page.

To start swipe three pigment inks of your choice across half of your page, using firm pressure and feathering the edges to give a faded effect.
I chose Warm Sunshine, Coral Berry and Caribbean Sky Pigment Inks. Overlap the colors a little bit, I deliberately chose to use color that I knew would give me secondary colors!
Using the On the Plus Side Stencil, apply Embossing Paste through the stencil with a Palette Knife. Let this dry completely!
Tip: To deposit a heavy amount of pigment ink, press and swipe your ink page away from you!

Stamp a flower image from In the Woodland Stamp Set with Permanent Black Crisp Pigment Ink and die cut. Use Fresh Lemon, Pink Diamond from the Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Alcohol Marker Set and Hydrangea from the Water Garden Artist Alcohol Marker Set to add touches of color to the flower image.
Stamp sentiment from the stamp set on the art journal page using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

To finish off, add the die-cut flower image to the art journal page using Instant Dimension Foam Tape!
Thank you for stopping by!
I hope that you all liked my art journal page with Altenew Pigment Inks as much as I loved making it! You can check out more of my mixed media projects and videos by clicking here.
