Hello Altenew fans, and welcome back to another day of scrapbook layout inspiration featuring amazing Altenew products.
I have so many fun dies from Altenew to cut out shapes, but I don't use them a lot on my layouts. I thought it would be fun to use them and combine them with flowers. It is not an easy combination, especially with more intricate shapes, but it is well worth the while.
How to Combine Geometric Shapes with Flowers on a Scrapbook Layout
The layout is based on a diagonal design composed of the following elements:
- A stamped and colored background using Captivating Blooms Stamp Set and its coordinating Coloring Stencil (4-in-1).
- Soda Top Nestling Die Set.
- Flowers cut out from Calming Bouquet Wide Washi Tape.
Don't be afraid to play around with shapes and flowers on your scrapbook layout.
Hearts and circles are great soft shapes that pair well with floral images. For this scrapbook layout, I cut out Soda Top shapes in pink and green. In the end, I didn't use the green ones on the layout, but I didn't throw them away. I made a simple card with them. Nothing goes to waste.
