Hi everyone! Lilith here with a colorful layout with lovely tulips using the Craft-A-Flower Tulip Full Bloom Layering Die Set.
This wonderful set is perfect for cards but can also easily be used on scrapbook layouts. The larger-sized tulips will fill up the page nicely and add instant detail.
Craft-A-Flower: Tulips Full Bloom Layering Die Set
The Craft-A-Flower: Tulip Full Bloom Layering Die Set will let you create two realistic tulips at different stages of blooming. The fully open tulip viewed from a higher angle comprises two layers for the petals, two for the center, and a couple of additional pieces for the underside of two petals. The second tulip comprises 6 individual petals in addition to a couple of pieces for the inner side of two petals, and two petals to cover the outer petals. The set also has two stems and three leaves.
The starting point of my layout was a striped patterned paper from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. I picked out patterned papers from different Altenew collections that would match and used those to cut out the different pieces of the tulips.
Once I had cut out all the elements, I put the flowers together following the instructions on the back of the packaging. This is super easy to do as Altenew has cleverly added symbols to line up the pieces. Each flower has its own symbol so you won't get the pieces mixed up.
Once I had assembled all the flowers, I constructed the layout. I added some butterflies from the Mix & Match Mariposa Die Set and also doodled a little for extra detail. For my title, I decided to use a word from one of the Script Word Die Sets.
You can see how I created the tulips and the whole layout in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube here.
